Your day begins with a convenient pick-up from your hotel or the airport in Entebbe. Your friendly guide will welcome you and whisk you off to the shores of Lake Victoria for the start of your adventure.
A scenic boat transfer (approximately 45 minutes) carries you across the lake to the forested shores of Ngamba Island. Keep your eyes peeled for monitor lizards sunning themselves and the many birds that call this area home.
Upon arrival, you'll be welcomed with refreshing drinks before your sanctuary experience begins. You'll join the chimpanzees in their protected forest enclosure for a feeding session, an incredibly rewarding opportunity to observe them up close. Afterwards, a visit to the sanctuary's clinic provides a fascinating look at the medical care and conservation efforts behind the scenes.
After a day filled with new connections and knowledge, we'll board the boat back to the mainland. On the return journey, we’ll make a memorable stop at the Equator for photos before your transfer back to your hotel or to Entebbe International Airport for your onward flight, filled with stories to last a lifetime.
