Day 1: Karibu Tanzania! Welcome to Arusha

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our friendly driver will be there to greet you with a warm smile. You'll be comfortably transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Settle in, take a deep breath of the African air, and relax after your journey, ready for the adventure to begin. Accommodation: Arusha Hotel

Day 2: Into the Wild & Tree-Climbing Lions

After a hearty breakfast, we'll journey to the lush, groundwater forest of Lake Manyara National Park. Your first game drive begins as we enter the park, where you might spot elephants, troops of baboons, and flamingos flocking to the lake's edge. The park is most famous for its tree-climbing lions, so keep your eyes on the acacia branches! Accommodation: Rift Valley Photographic Tented Lodge

Day 3: The Endless Plains of the Serengeti

Today, we drive towards the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. The very name, meaning "Endless Plains" in the Maasai language, will make sense as the vast, golden grasslands unfold before you. This is the stage for the Great Migration, and we'll enjoy a game drive en route to your lodge, searching for prides of lions, graceful giraffes, and towering elephants. Accommodation: Serengeti Lodge/Camp

Day 4: A Full Day in the Serengeti

Dedicate today entirely to exploring the wonders of the Serengeti. After an early breakfast, we'll set out with packed lunches for a full day of adventure. We'll follow the tracks of the wild, seeking out hidden cheetahs, playful hyenas, and the great herds that define this iconic landscape. Every turn reveals a new story, a new moment of pure, untamed beauty. Accommodation: Serengeti Lodge/Camp

Day 5: From Plains to a Natural Wonder: The Ngorongoro Crater

We'll enjoy one last morning game drive in the Serengeti before ascending to the cool highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We'll drive along the crater's rim, offering spectacular views, before descending 600 meters into the crater floor for an unforgettable afternoon game drive. This natural Eden is home to nearly all of Africa's iconic species, all contained within the crater walls. Accommodation: Ngorongoro Lodge/Camp

Day 6: Elephants & Ancient Baobabs of Tarangire

We leave the highlands for the baobab-dotted landscape of Tarangire National Park. Known for its large elephant herds and the majestic, sausage-like baobab trees, Tarangire offers a different, yet equally stunning, safari experience. The Tarangire River attracts a incredible variety of animals, making for fantastic game viewing and birdwatching. Accommodation: Tarangire Lodge/Camp

Day 7: Farewell, for Now

Savor a final breakfast in the wild before we begin our journey back to Arusha. We'll stop for lunch at a local restaurant (own expense) to reflect on the incredible week before we transfer you to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight, filled with stories and memories of your Tanzanian adventure.
