Day 1: Arrival in Kenya & Journey to Lake Nakuru

Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, where your Africa Veterans Safaris guide will warmly welcome you. After a safari briefing, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. The journey offers a scenic drive down the Great Rift Valley escarpment, with a photo stop to admire the breathtaking views. Arrive in time for lunch. This afternoon, embark on your first game drive in the park, a renowned bird-watcher's paradise famous for its flamingo populations and a successful rhino sanctuary protecting both black and white rhinos.

Day 2: Rhinos, Rifts & A Boat Ride to Hell's Gate

After breakfast, depart for Lake Naivasha. Your first adventure is exploring Hell's Gate National Park on foot or by bicycle—a unique park that allows close interaction with its dramatic, rocky landscape and geothermal features. After your exploration, check in at your lodge for lunch. Later, enjoy a serene boat ride on Lake Naivasha, spotting hippos and a variety of water birds. Day 3: Into the Wild - The Masai Mara Plains

Check out after breakfast and journey south to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. Freshen up before heading out for an exhilarating afternoon game drive across the rolling savannah, searching for the Big Five and other predators that call this reserve home. Day 4 & 5: The Magic of the Masai Mara

Spend two full days exploring the vastness of the Masai Mara. With packed lunches, venture deep into the reserve to follow the tracks of the Great Migration (seasonal) and witness its dramatic river crossings. The Mara is a haven for predators, offering incredible opportunities to see lions, cheetahs, and leopards in action. Day 6: Crossing the Border to the Serengeti

After an early breakfast, bid farewell to Kenya and journey into Tanzania, heading for the legendary Serengeti National Park. Enjoy a picnic lunch en route. The name "Serengeti" translates to "Endless Plains," and you will quickly see why. Embark on an introductory game drive upon entry, immersing yourself in this iconic ecosystem before checking into your camp.

Day 7 & 8: Exploring the Endless Serengeti

Dedicate two full days to discovering the wonders of the Serengeti. With packed lunches, your guide will take you to prime wildlife-viewing areas, from the kopjes (rocky outcrops) favored by lions to the vast grasslands teeming with wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle. Every drive promises new surprises and unforgettable encounters in this World Heritage Site.

Day 9: To the Ngorongoro Highlands

Enjoy a final morning game drive in the Serengeti before beginning your scenic drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The journey offers stunning views as you ascend into the highlands, where you will check in at your lodge, situated on a coffee plantation, for a relaxing evening.

Day 10: Ngorongoro Crater & On to Amboseli

After an early breakfast, descend 2,000 feet into the Ngorongoro Crater for a spectacular morning game drive. This natural wonder is a self-contained Eden, supporting one of the highest densities of wildlife on Earth. After the drive, exit the crater and journey back into Kenya, heading for Amboseli National Park. Arrive in time for an evening game drive.

Day 11 & 12: Kilimanjaro's Realm in Amboseli

Spend two full days exploring Amboseli, famous for its large elephant herds and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Morning and afternoon game drives will allow you to photograph wildlife with the majestic mountain as your backdrop. You may also have the opportunity to visit a local Maasai community to learn about their culture.

Day 13: Farewell to Africa

Enjoy one last breakfast with a view of Kilimanjaro before departing for Nairobi. Upon arrival, you will be taken to a restaurant for lunch (own expense) before transferring to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight, filled with memories to last a lifetime. Meals: Breakfast
