Imagine a place where the mighty Nile River is forced through a narrow gorge, erupting in a spectacular waterfall—this is Murchison Falls. This park is a sanctuary where lions roam the savannah, elephants trumpet in the distance, and the air is filled with the calls of exotic birds. From the thrill of a classic game drive to the serenity of a boat cruise towards the base of the falls, every moment is a new discovery. We’ve woven together the perfect blend of adventure, relaxation, and awe-inspiring encounters with nature, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
After a hearty breakfast, your friendly and professional guide will pick you up, ready to share stories and insights as you leave the buzz of Kampala behind. Your first stop is the incredible Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, a beacon of conservation hope. Here, you’ll step out of the vehicle and embark on a guided trek on foot to come face-to-face with the magnificent white rhinos—a truly humbling experience.
We’ll then continue north, with the landscape transforming as we approach Murchison Falls National Park. After checking into your chosen lodge, you can unwind to the sounds of the African bush, enjoy a delicious dinner, and let the anticipation for the days ahead sink in.
Rise with the sun for a cup of coffee before we head out on an exhilarating morning game drive. As the cool morning air washes over the savannah, wildlife is at its most active. Keep your eyes peeled for lions resting in the grass, graceful antelopes, towering giraffes, and lumbering elephants. This is your chance to witness the circle of life in action.
After returning to the lodge for a relaxing lunch, the afternoon brings a change of pace with a scenic launch cruise on the Victoria Nile. Glide peacefully along the river, getting up close to enormous pods of hippos, sunbathing crocodiles, and a dazzling array of waterbirds. The cruise builds to a breathtaking climax as you approach the base of the Murchison Falls, where you can feel the spray and hear the incredible roar of the water. Later, we’ll visit the Top of the Falls to stand in awe of the Nile’s powerful spectacle as it squeezes through a mere 7-meter gap.
Enjoy one last delicious breakfast in the wild, breathing in the fresh morning air. We then begin our comfortable journey back to Kampala, filled with stories and photos. If your flight schedule allows, we’d be delighted to offer a brief city tour of Kampala—perhaps a visit to the vibrant Nakasero Market or the cultural Kasubi Tombs—before we transfer you to Entebbe International Airport for your departure, our hearts (and cameras) full.
