Your adventure begins the moment you land. Our friendly driver-guide will be there to welcome you with a warm smile and a brief overview of the incredible days ahead. Then, we set off on a scenic drive towards the dramatic landscapes of Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, pausing for a delicious lunch along the way. As the day winds down, you'll check into your lodge, nestled at the foothills of the Virunga volcanoes, for a relaxing dinner and your first night under the African sky.

After a hearty breakfast, we'll head to the park headquarters where rangers will share insights on how to respectfully trek alongside the golden monkeys. Led by an expert guide, you'll venture into the bamboo forest. Finding a troop is a moment of pure magic—you'll spend a captivating hour watching them groom, forage, and play. Return to the lodge for lunch before an afternoon exploring the historic Garama Cave, learning the profound cultural heritage of the Batwa people.

Enjoy a leisurely morning and breakfast before we begin our picturesque journey north. The road trip is part of the adventure, offering stunning views of rural life and vast tea estates. After approximately six hours, we'll arrive at the edge of Kibale National Park, where you'll check into your new lodge, ready for tomorrow's chimp encounter.

Today, you meet the masters of the jungle! An early breakfast fuels you for the day. After a briefing at Kanyanchu, you'll embark on a guided trek through the dense Kibale forest. The air fills with excitement as you locate a community of chimpanzees. Your hour with them is a privilege—a chance to observe their human-like antics and complex social dynamics. After lunch, the adventure continues with a cultural tour to a nearby village, a heartwarming experience of connection and shared humanity.

Savor one last delicious Ugandan breakfast before we begin our transfer back to Kampala/Entebbe.
