Day 1: Welcome to Kenya & The Call of the Mara

Your adventure begins the moment you land. Our friendly and professional guide from Africa Veterans Safaris will be there to welcome you at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport with a warm smile. After a brief introduction, we’ll journey to the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve, driving through the dramatic scenery of the Great Rift Valley. Settle into your lodge, enjoy a delicious lunch, and then it’s time for your first taste of the wild on an afternoon game drive, returning as the African sun paints the sky in hues of orange and red.

Day 2 & 3: Immersion in the Masai Mara

Spend two full days exploring the vast, untamed beauty of the Mara. After an early breakfast, we set out to discover why this is called "Nature's Greatest Stage." Keep your eyes peeled for the spectacular Great Wildebeest Migration (seasonal), where millions of animals thunder across the plains. We’ll enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the bush, surrounded by the sounds of the wild. Cultural Encounter: On one of the days, you have the option to visit a traditional Maasai village. Listen to ancient stories, learn about their remarkable culture, and share a moment of connection with this proud community.

Day 4: From the Mara to a Flamingo Paradise

We say farewell to the Mara after breakfast and journey towards Lake Nakuru National Park, a glittering jewel known as a 'Bird Watcher’s Paradise.' After lunch, we explore the park, where thousands of flamingos often create a breathtaking pink haze along the shoreline. The park is also a renowned rhino sanctuary, offering an excellent chance to see both black and white rhinos, alongside buffalo, giraffes, and the park’s famous tree-climbing lions.

Day 5: Adventure on Foot & A Lake Serenity

Today, we trade our safari vehicle for a more intimate adventure at Hell’s Gate National Park. This unique park allows you to walk, hike, or cycle amidst grazing zebras and antelopes, feeling the earth's power in the towering gorges and hot springs. In the afternoon, unwind with a serene sunset boat ride on Lake Naivasha, getting up close to hippos and a dazzling array of birdlife on Crescent Island.

Day 6: Kilimanjaro's Majesty in Amboseli

Our journey continues to Amboseli National Park, famous for its iconic postcard views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Arrive in time for lunch, with the majestic, snow-capped peak providing a stunning backdrop. Later, head out on an evening game drive in search of Amboseli’s massive elephant herds roaming the open plains.

Day 7: A Fond Farewell

Enjoy one last morning game drive in Amboseli, a final chance to capture that perfect photo of wildlife with Kilimanjaro in the background. After breakfast, we begin our journey back to Nairobi, filled with incredible stories and a heart full of memories, arriving in the late afternoon for your onward travel.
