Day 1: Welcome to Nairobi – City Pulse & Gentle Giants

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, your friendly and professional driver-guide from Africa Veterans Safaris will welcome you. After a brief safari overview, you'll check into your hotel to refresh. This afternoon, dive into Nairobi's charm with a city tour, seeing key landmarks before a magical visit to the Giraffe Centre. This evening, surrender your senses to the legendary Carnivore Restaurant for an unforgettable dinner experience. Overnight: Nairobi Hotel

Day 2: Descend into the Rift Valley – Lake Nakuru's Pink Shores

After breakfast, we journey west, descending the escarpment of the Great Rift Valley for breathtaking photo opportunities. Arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park, a haven for flamingos and a sanctuary for both black and white rhinos. Enjoy an afternoon game drive seeking out rhinos, buffalo, and the elusive leopard. Day 3: Into the Wild – The Iconic Maasai Mara

Day 4 & 5: The Realm of the Mara – Full Day Adventures

These two days are dedicated to exploring the "home of nature." After an early breakfast, set out with a picnic lunch for a full day of game viewing. Witness the great herds of wildebeest, zebra, and antelope that blanket the plains. Keep your eyes peeled for predators on the hunt. Day 6: Crossing Borders – From Mara to the Serengeti

Day 7 & 8: Exploring the Endless Plains – Serengeti Immersion

With two full days in the Serengeti, you'll explore its diverse habitats—from kopjes to rivers and grasslands. Each day, venture out with a packed lunch to delve deep into the park, searching for the famous "Big Five" and the countless other species that call this wilderness home. Day 9: A Geological Wonder – The Ngorongoro Highlands

After a final Serengeti game drive, we travel towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The journey itself is spectacular, winding through beautiful highland scenery. Check in to your lodge perched on the crater's rim, with stunning views to enjoy before your final adventure tomorrow. Overnight: Lodge/Camp on the Ngorongoro Crater Rim

Day 10: Farewell to the Wild

After a leisurely breakfast, we begin our journey back. You will be transferred to your chosen departure airport—either Jomo Kenyatta Airport (Nairobi) or Kilimanjaro International Airport (Moshi)—filled with a lifetime of memories.

  • Accommodation: 9 nights' stay in comfortable, selected lodges or tented camps.
  • Meals: Full board basis (breakfast, lunch, dinner) while on safari.
  • Park Fees: All mandatory park entry fees for the national parks and reserves mentioned.
  • Transport: All ground transportation in a custom 4x4 safari vehicle with a pop-up roof for optimal game viewing.
