Delve into the very soul of Africa on this once-in-a-lifetime journey that combines two of Uganda’s most legendary experiences. This isn’t just a safari; it’s an epic tale you’ll live and tell for years to come. You’ll stand in awe on the snow-dusted summit of the fabled “Mountains of the Moon” and share a quiet, profound moment with a family of endangered mountain gorillas.
From the thrill of tracking tree-climbing lions on the savanna to the warmth of connecting with local communities, this adventure is crafted to reveal why Uganda truly earns its title as the “Pearl of Africa.” We’ve carefully selected a mix of comfortable lodges and authentic mountain huts to ensure your journey is as rich in comfort as it is in experience.
After landing at Entebbe International Airport (or following a good breakfast at your hotel), you'll be warmly greeted by your guide. They’ll be your companion and expert on this incredible journey. We then set off for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, with a fascinating stop at the Uganda Equator to snap some classic photos. After a delicious lunch and a visit to the Igongo Cultural Centre, we'll wind our way through the stunning, terraced hills of the Kigezi region before settling into your lodge on the edge of the ancient forest.
Today is the day! After an early breakfast, we head to the park headquarters for a briefing. Then, with your guide and trackers, you'll enter the dense, verdant jungle in search of a habituated gorilla family. The trek can be challenging, but the moment you lock eyes with these gentle giants, every step is forgotten. You'll spend one magical hour observing them as they go about their daily lives. After lunch back at the lodge, we'll visit a local Batwa community to learn about their profound connection to this forest, a beautiful contrast to the morning's adventure.
We say goodbye to Bwindi after breakfast and drive to the world-renowned Queen Elizabeth National Park. Our route takes us through the Ishasha sector, famous for its unique population of lions that lounge acrobatically in the fig trees! We’ll keep our eyes peeled for these incredible cats and other wildlife during an en-route game drive before checking in to our lodge.

Later, we trade the safari vehicle for a boat on the Kazinga Channel for a relaxing cruise. This is a photographer's paradise, with huge concentrations of hippos, crocodiles, and magnificent birdlife lining the shores.
